MichaelPitt教授简介:
ProfessorPitt has been involved in property research and teaching since 1990. He is aFellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has served on severalFacilities Management committees over the years. He has been an advisor to theHCP team at the MOD Main Building since 2008 and works closely with much of theHCP supply chain. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Malaya andEditor of the Journal of Facilities Management.
ProfessorPitt works closely with industry on projects related to facilities management(FM) linked to productivity and efficiency in the workplace with a particularfocus on the office environment. Recent projects have included an examinationof the impact of interior planting on productivity, waste management trends, life cycle management, the development of sustainability strategies andperformance measurement systems. At the current time a cluster of researchprojects are running within the PFI supply chain at MOD Main Building inWhitehall. These projects are all partly funded by the private sector jointlywith either the UK Government or one of the UK research councils. In additionProfessor Pitt is engaged in FM developmental work, particularly in Malaysiaand Thailand.

报告内容提纲:
题目1:面向新设施管理机遇与挑战:数字化与智能化应用与研究
Traditionalfacilities management has been viewed as a series of services or moments sewntogether into the fabric of a service chain. This paper suggests that thestarting point should be seeing facilities management as a journey through anorganisation, including its space, with variables such as stakeholder identitydetermining journey. With this new approach facilities management can becommoditised based on customised stakeholder delivery and these journeys can beused as the foundation of commercial delivery.
题目2:从BIM到Twin:未来建筑环境的数字孪生
Complexinfrastructures and built environment are becoming rich sources of data frommultidisciplinary models and systems, raising new opportunities to model andmanage projects towards the smart, sustainable, and resilient future. Digitaltwin (DT) provides a digital replica of such assets and processes and isemerging as a data-driven approach to monitor, manage, predict and improve theefficiency and quality of design, construction and operation process. However, there have been two essential problems waiting to be solved for DT: (1) How toconstruct and update DT for infrastructure and built environment moreaccurately and conveniently? and (2) How to unlock the full value of DT? Thisseminar will answer these two questions through presenting recent and ongoingresearch on geometric and semantic digital twinning and use cases in the UK. Itwill firstly introduce geometric digital twinning approaches based on imagesand point cloud data for as-built/as-is buildings and infrastructures, and thenpresent semantic digital twinning approaches based on IFC extensions andmultimodal data fusion techniques. The values of DT will be revealed by currentbest practices in ‘Smart Living Environment,’ ‘Sustainable Transportation’, and‘Resilient City’.
