报告内容简介：

      Currently Nigeria’s first cable-stayed bridge, the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge, is being built in Lagos. It connects the city districts of Lekki in the east and Ikoyi in the west, which are separated by a lagoon. The bridge consists of a 720 m long approach bridge on the Lekki side with effective spans of 19 m and a 635 m long main bridge on the Ikoyi side which is erected in segmental construction. Part of the main bridge is a 225 m long section which is built as a cable-stayed bridge with a central pylon. This seminar gives an overview of the project and the design of the foundation. Construction and bearing behaviour of the piles is described with a focus on the pylon foundations. Results of static pile load tests as well as from the monitoring program are shown.

主讲人简介： 

      Axel Nernheim博士在德国University of Hannover土木工程专业获得本科学位，在德国Clausthal University of Technology岩土工程专业获得博士学位，在加拿大GeoEngineering Centre at Queen’s – RMC, Royal Military College of Canada从事博士后研究。在2008年进入德国著名的土木设计咨询公司Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau GmbH担任岩土工程项目经理之前，一直在Clausthal University of Technology任教多年，有丰富的教学、科研与工程实践经验。Axel N.博士近年来主持完成了地点在欧洲与非洲的多项大型土木工程项目建设设计与咨询工作，在软土地基加固、桩基础、加筋土结构等方面有较深的造诣。
