报告人简介:

刘鹏飞,亚琛工业大学公路工程研究所(ISAC)高级研究员,“路面材料的仿真和力学”方向负责人。他还担任中欧先进交通基础设施技术有限公司研究中心的总经理。此前,刘教授于2008年在北京科技大学获得学士学位,并分别于2012年和2017年在德国亚琛工业大学获得硕士和博士学位。他的主要研究方向为应用于沥青路面的数值方法,沥青混合料的多尺度建模和表征。他在ISAC的国家和国际科学研究项目的应用及实现中做出了重大贡献,目前已发表了80多篇工作,其中包括79SCI论文和4本书,同时还担任5个期刊的编辑以及超过51SCI期刊的审稿人。刘博士还曾获得2017年中国教育部颁发的优秀自费学生奖学金。


Dr. Pengfei Liu is a senior research engineer and the leader of the research group “Simulation and Mechanics of Pavement Materials“ in the Institute of Highway Engineering (ISAC), RWTH Aachen University. He is also the general manager in Sino-European Research Center for Advanced Transportation Infrastructure Technology GmbH. He received his bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) in 2008. Afterward, Dr. Liu received his master and doctoral degree from RWTH Aachen University in 2012 and 2017, respectively. His main research areas can be summarized as numerical methods applied in asphalt pavement, multiscale modelling and characterization of asphalt mixtures. He makes fundamental contributions to the application and realization of national and international scientific research projects in ISAC and has published more than 80 publications consisting of 79 SCI papers as well as 4 books. He also serves as anacademic/topiceditor for 5 technical journals and a reviewer for 51 SCI journals.Dr. Liu has been recognized with the 2017 Excellent Self-Funded Student Scholarship of the Ministry of Education P. R. China.


报告摘要:

为了发展德国的道路交通,亚琛工业大学公路工程研究所(ISAC)一直致力于研究创新的施工技术和路面材料。本次演讲将介绍ISAC的三个研究方向。第一部分将介绍一个实现高效建设和运营交通网络的新概念。这个概念主要运用了数字化工程的基本方法以求交通工程的数字化升级。接下来,本讲座将关于自动驾驶的相关内容,重点介绍在确保未来的交通安全性的同时,增加交通流量但不用修建新道路。第三部分将介绍一些高性能材料(聚氨酯沥青)和先进的路面结构(INNO-PAVE)。此外,会介绍一些新道路系统的概念,例如,钢化道路用作太阳能热的收集器、安装光伏模块的新能源道路。本次演讲将概述亚琛工业大学交通与路面工程研究的进展,或许能为华南理工大学师生启发一些新研究思路。 

In order to develop the road transport in Germany, the Institute of Highway Engineering (ISAC) at RWTH Aachen University has been committed to study innovative construction technology and pavement materials. In this presentation, three research aspects in ISAC will be introduced. In the first section, the concepts that can be used in order to digitalize the traffic with basic methods of digital engineering to better build and operate the transport network will be introduced. Next, in order to make sure that traffic is going to be safer in the future, and also make sure the capacity can be increased without building new roads, the automateddriving will be spoken about. In the third section, some High-Tech-materials and advanced pavement structures will be covered. One innovative material is so-called Polyurethane asphalt. Another innovative material/structure is called INNO-PAVE. Some concepts of new road systems will be introduced as well. For example, the tempered road is used as collectors for solar heat, i.e., the roads harvest solar heat/energy. Furthermore, the roads can be used as an energy generator by implementing the photovoltaic modules and as a carrier of energy by embedding primary coils. This presentation will provide an overview of advances in the research of transport and pavement engineering at RWTH Aachen University, which may inspire research ideas in SCUT.
