摘要:
Small, low profile and compact antenna designs have been receiving considerable attention in recent years because of their wide applications in mobile terminals, such as smartphones, laptops, tablets, MiFi, data cards, smart watches, BT headsets, routers, IoT, tags, smart screens, CPE, VR, automobiles, etc. It is the intention of this talk to present the audience with a broad picture in the area of mobile terminal antenna design from the perspectives of both theoretical methodology and practical applications. The following topics will be addressed: (a) The evolution of mobile terminal antennas; (b) Common modes and differential modes used in mobile terminal antennas; (c) Single band and multi-band antennas; (d) Antenna pair for MIMO applications; (e) Reconfigurable antennas; (f) EM absorption of human body; (g) Performance evaluation of mobile terminal antennas; (h) mm-Wave antenna design for mobile terminals.
个人简历:
Hanyang Wang received the Ph.D. degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K. in 1995. From 1995 to 1999, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., and the University of Essex, Colchester, U.K. From 1999 to 2000, he was with Vector Fields Ltd., Oxford, U.K., as a Software Development and Microwave and Antenna Engineering Consultant Engineer. He joined Nokia U.K. Ltd., Farnborough, U.K. in 2001, where he had been a Mobile Antenna Specialist for 11 years. He joined Huawei after leaving Nokia, and he is currently the Chief Scientist of Mobile Terminal Antennas. He was an Adjunct Professor at Nanjing University from 2019 to 2022 and he has been an Adjunct Professor at Sichuan University since 2011. He has authored over referred 160 papers. He holds over 110 granted US/EU/JP/CN patents, including 55 US patents, and has other 100+ patent applications in pending. Dr. Wang is a Huawei Fellow, IEEE Fellow and IET Fellow.
