Adhering to the pragmatic and rigorous tradition of South China University of Technology and relying on the comprehensive strength of the School of Business Administration in the management discipline, the MPAcc of South China University of Technology began enrolling students in 2011 and has graduated nearly 600 students. Sticking to case teaching, the Program focuses on developing students' ability of analyzing and solving practical problems and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a world-wide recognized professional qualification. To expand opportunities of social practice and career development for the students, a number of practicum bases has been co-established by the Program and several large and medium enterprises and accounting firms in Guangdong Province, and the student is co-supervised by a faculty member and an off-campus supervisor who is a senior executive of large and medium enterprise or an industry expert.
