Dean’s Message

Established in 1982, the School of Business Administration has been the pioneer in management education in South China. For over four decades, guided by the mission - "To propel theoretical innovations, cultivate management elites, and serve social development by relaying strength in science and technology" - the School has adhered to an integrated talent cultivation mode combining knowledge, ability, skills, and quality. Through the dedicated efforts of our successive leaders, faculty, and students, the School has developed a wide range of disciplines and strong research capabilities, achieving fruitful educational outcomes. Our alumni have achieved remarkable success in business, academia, and public service, making a positive impact across the nation. Today, the School is known as the "Cradle of Entrepreneurs in Southern China" and has become one of the leading business schools in China.

 

The School's faculty team is well structured and comprises senior professors renowned in academia and industry, as well as young scholars who are pioneering innovation. With its research firmly grounded in Chinese practices, the School has won several first prizes in the Outstanding Achievements Awards for Philosophy and Social Sciences, awarded by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Guangdong provincial government. Our students have achieved outstanding results in nationally competitions such as the "Challenge Cup" and the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. Key performance indicators such as the employment rate, starting salary, and career satisfaction consistently exceed the average levels for Category A universities under China's "Double First-Class" initiative.
