工作地点:此次两个岗位都属于BP Petrochemicals 石化业务,第一个轮岗的工作地点在珠海PTA工厂,这将是BP全球最大的PTA生产基地。第一个轮岗结束后将根据工作需要和个人兴趣在中国区其他有石化业务的城市进行工作。

Job Title: Process Optimization Engineer
Category: Engineering
Business Unit: Petrochemicals
Working Location: Zhuhai
Key Accountabilities:
To perform Plant Optimization through Engineering Applications.
- To develop process optimisation programs to maximise plant profits and efficiency.
- To participate in/ assist Lead process optimisation engineer to perform complex and complicated process engineering tasks
- To perform economic evaluation of small capital projects.
- To design simple systems using manual and computer based calculations to develop equipment datasheets.
- To provide process assurance to the design and implementation of process improvement and product quality assurance projects.
To optimize plant through process/operation trouble-shooting & plant optimization tests
- To monitor/analyse unit performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
- To provide assistance to Operation in trouble-shooting plant problems.
- To propose and conduct plant tests to verify or demonstrate process/control/engineering improvement ideas.
- To develop standard procedures to address/improve process or operational problems..
- To drive for HSE performance and continuous improvement
- Actively participate in process safety activities and HAZOP reviews.
- Following HSSE & O&S guidelines to review and develop safety related process/operation to meet group standards.
- To report any unsafe condition, potential environmental problem, any opportunities and propose recommendation to improve in his/her work area based on his/her knowledge, experience and lesson learnt.
Communication
- Generate internal and external reports to share best practices.
- Keep current of site manufacturing issues and understand plant and business visions.
- Coordinate with other groups and provide process engineering expertise and support to ensure implementation of process improvement changes.
- Maintain contact with process engineering groups in BP Technology and BP PTA manufacturing sites.
- Respect others as equals without consideration of positions or educational background.
Essential Criteria
Master Degree, majored in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
Technical Skills:
* Understanding of certain aspects of chemical processing and related technologies
* A broad knowledge of plant operations and plant process engineering requirements.
* Able to understand, run and make minor changes to existing steady-state models. Able to set up steady-state models of single unit operations from scratch, and understand the implications of choice of physical properties, thermodynamics and transport property models.
* Basic knowledge of other engineering disciplines, relevant codes and equipment options. Full understanding of specifications required from Chemical Engineers for other disciplines. Ability to lead process engineering on minor projects.
Language skill-skillful English reading, writing, speaking; fluent mandarin speaking;
Computer skill- familiar with Microsoft office is essential.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Working Location: Zhuhai
Key Accountabilities:
Maintenance Engineering
- To provide mechanical engineering support for mechanical equipment modification and upgrade;
Maintenance project management
- To work as project manager to follow-up the whole process of maintenance on mechanical equipments.
- To implement maintenance project on mechanical equipment during shutdown/outage in a safe and effective way;
- To assist project engineer to handle big maintenance capital project.
Coordination and communication
- To regularly communicate information related to mechanical maintenance issues and proactively seek for improvement ideas from different functions.
- To organize mechanical equipment unreliability and low plant availability gap identification and follow up improvement action development and implemented;
- To promote share learning culture, network with counterpart in BP PTA plants or external world to pursue and share best practices in maintenance improvement of mechanical equipment;
- To act as representative of maintenance-mechanical for plant wide activities like IM, Hazop study etc.
HSE
- To promote root cause analysis process or other learning tool/methodology.
- To lead/facilitate root cause analysis on injury, HIPO etc high safety risk incidents.
- To Propose HSE improvement action plan as per RCFA and reports any unsafe conditions and potential environmental protection problem.
Essential Criteria
Master degree, majored in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
Have good overall knowledge and experience to international/national mechanical engineering code/standard.
Good understanding/knowledge of mechanical equipment reliability/cost improvement technique/skill.
- Language skill-skilful English reading, writing, speaking
- Basic understanding and application of economical evaluation
- Basic application of project management skill;
- Computer skill- familiar with Microsoft office is essential.
