内容摘要:
Hydrogen will be one of the most important energy media in our future society. Hydrogen can be produced from renewable energy such as solar and wind, and stored stably, and converted to electricity and/or heat on demand without CO2 emission (the flow called ‘Power to Gas’). For safe storage of hydrogen, hydrogen storage alloys have attracted one’s interest. In recent years, we have contributed to establishment of a Power to Gas system led by Yamanashi prefecture under the NEDO project. In this system, hydrogen storage tanks with a capacity larger than 3000 Nm3 are being developed. In this talk, the speaker would like to share information about recent R&D and demonstration of hydrogen energy systems in Japan including the above project with main focus on hydrogen storage.
报告人简介:
Dr. Yumiko Nakamura is a Deputy Director of Research Institute of Energy Frontier, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba. She took a B. Sci. and M. Sci. in Physical Chemistry and Ph.D. Eng. in Materials Science at Kyoto University. She has been doing a research on metal hydrides for hydrogen storage at AIST since 1998. She has expertise in structural analysis using X-ray and neutron diffraction, particularly in-situ measurement during hydrogen absorption and desorption. Her main research interest is to relate structural properties to hydrogen storage properties, and to make use it for material development. In recent years, she has also contributed to R&D of hydrogen storage application such as a Power to Gas system.
