个人简介:Elena N Govorun received her PhD from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1997. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Physics, Chair of Polymer and Crystal Physics. Her research interests are in the field of theory of macromolecular systems, in particular, self-assembly phenomena in complex systems containing polymers and surfactants, diffusion in polymers, and macromolecular reactions.
报告简介:A number of polymers are locally amphiphilic, in particular, those are amphiphilic homopolymers and molecular brushes with side chains of different types. Such macromolecules as well as polymer-surfactant mixtures can self-assemble into complex morphologies in solution or melt.
In the lecture, a theoretical consideration of self-assembly for single macromolecules, polymer solutions and polymer brushes will be presented in terms of the dimer solvophobic-solvophilic model of amphiphilic monomer units and surfactant moleсules. For single amphiphilic macromolecules, the morphological diagrams and conditions of vesicle formation will be analyzed in parallel with discussing the results of computer simulations
