摘要:In this lecture, a bio-inspired flexible body armor consisting of two-layer structure composite scales was introduced and analyzed. Finite element analysis was performed using the finite element method package with LS-DYNA commercial software. Results show that the proposed flexible body armor with silicon carbide ceramic exhibits superior bulletproof properties over Al2O3 and B4C ceramics. The impact velocity of the bullet in the vertical direction decreases rapidly with increasing overlapping angle of the scales. The maximum deformation of the bio-inspired flexible body armor decreases with increasing number of Kevlar layers. The frictional coefficient between adjacent scales slightly influences the protective performance of the bio-inspired flexible body armor. This numerical study can provide a basis for designing a novel bio-inspired flexible body armor.主讲人简介:
院长助理、建筑材料研究中心主任、绿色土木工程材料及应用技术省重点实验室副主任。在生物和仿生材料的多尺度力学行为、高性能纤维织物及其增强复合材料的力学特性和计算分析、动态荷载试验技术等交叉领域进行了深入研究。目前已经在国内外学术期刊和会议上发表论文100 多篇,其中包括在Composites Science and Technology等国际权威期刊发表SCI文章40篇,中文EI论文23篇,撰写英文著作(Handbook of Micromechanics and Nanomechanics、Engineered Biomimicry)章节2篇,国际会议文章40余篇,授权国家专利7项(其中发明专利1项)。
