       A gap remains between scientific/technology innovation and the electronic industry: The manufacture industry in China is often looking for a turn-key solution which results in copying and following the mature technology imported from oversea.   On the other hand, most R&D programs in 863, 973 …… are focusing individual materials or devices.  Process/materials/system integration could be an effective bridge and provide the turnkey solution needed by Chinese electronic device industry.
In this presentation I will touch a few topics involving system integration of organic semiconductor materials and devices.  Success in such system integration will create a series of electronic systems with performance beyond their commercial counterparts.  Such Turnkey solution may not only

附报告人简介:
       Dr. Gang Yu is the CTO and Co-founder of CBRITE Inc. since 2005. Dr. Yu received his PhD in 1990s at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research was focused on multi-function OLEDs, bulk-junction polymer photovoltaic cells, photodetectors, large size image arrays.  He continued his research as a Postdoc Fellow till 1994 before he joint UNIAX Corporation as Manager for Advanced Development. In 2000, he started his 5-year career in DuPont Displays as Displays Fellow and then became Manager for Full-Color AMOLED, Manager of Adv. Dev. Group. Dr. Yu was invited as Visiting Professor of SCUT during 2000-2002, and Visiting Lecture Professor of Nankai University (2000-2004). He has published more than 100 scientific research papers, over 90 issued patents and over 50 pending.
