报告摘要:
Anionic polymerization is a powerful tool of synthesis both in the academic domain and at the industrial level, in particular for the elaboration of new macromolecular structures. In particular, anionic ring-opening polymerization (AROP) is an efficient method for the synthesis of various polymers, mainly polyethers, polyesters, polyamides, polysiloxanes, and polycarbonates. Recently, we were interested both in the polymerization of cyclic amines (aziridines) and cyclic amides (lactams) for two different reasons. First to demonstrate that an organo-catalytic approach can be efficient for the preparation of functionalized polyaziridines. Second, to show that combination of AROP and condensation reactions can lead to new polyamide-based materials. These two topics will be discussed.
报告人简介:
Dr. Stephane Carlotti is a full professor at Bordeaux INP, CNRS, University of Bordeaux. His main research activities are focused on polymer chemistry: from the synthesis to chemical or physical characterization of polymeric materials. He is more specifically interested in anionic polymerizations with the finding of new synthesis methodologies and the synthesis of polymers, copolymers and various architectures. He is in particular looking at ethylenic and heterocyclic monomers with organometallic and organic initiators or catalysts.
