Professor Wang worked in the geotechnical engineering research center of Royal Military Academy, Queen's University (Canada) as a post-doctor between 2006 and 2007. She works mainly on teaching and research of foundation and pavement engineering and foundation and slope engineering. She presided over several projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation, Guangdong Science Foundation and so on. She published many papers and was awarded 1 special prize and 1 third prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award in 2003 and 2005 respectively.
