科研项目:

先后主持国家863项目、国家水体污染治理重大专项、国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、教育部博士点基金、教育部留学人员基金、广东省自然科学基金、广东省“节能减排”重大科技专项、广东省高层次人才基金、广东省战略性新兴产业核心技术攻关项目、广东省科技计划重点项目、广州市科技攻关项目、佛山市科技创新团队项目等国家及省部级科研项目三十多项,并主持完成近百项大中型废水处理工程项目的设计、工程安装及调试工作,具有丰富的科研与实际工程经验。

荣誉/教学活动

荣誉:享受国务院特殊津贴专家、全国优秀科技工作者、广东“特支计划”杰出人才(2022)、广东“千百十”人才工程国家级培养对象、获广东省五一劳动奖章(2014)、广东杰出专利发明人(2016)、广东省丁颖科技奖(2019)、广州市十大优秀留学回国人员等荣誉称号。以第一完成人获得2009年国家科学技术进步二等奖、2010年、2020年及2021年三次中国专利优秀奖、2007年广东科学技术一等奖、2016年中国轻工业联合会技术发明一等奖、2011年广东专利金奖、2018年广东科学技术二等奖、2015年教育部自然科学二等奖。

授课课程:环境与生态(本科生课程,教育部首批精品视频公开课),清洁生产概论(硕士生课程),水污染控制进展讲座(博士生课程)。

指导学生情况:已经指导毕业研究生86名(其中博士生11名)。现指导博士生12名,硕士生23名。2012年被评为华南理工大学“我最喜爱的导师”,2011年和2013年两次被评为华南理工大学“优秀博士论文指导教师”。

学术成果:

在国内外期刊发表学术论文330余篇,获授权发明专利62件(其中美国专利3件、日本专利1件),出版《废水处理过程智能控制建模与策略》(国家科学技术学术著作出版基金项目)、《植物纤维性能衰变抑制原理与技术》(国家十二五重点规划出版物)、《过硫酸盐高级氧化理论与技术》等学术专著8部。
