  • 2001年7月—2009年4月:汕头大学海洋生物广东省重点实验室工作,历任助理研究员、副研究员、研究员、特聘教授、博士生导师(海洋生物学专业)

  • 2009年4月—至今,华南理工大学环境与能源学院,聘任教授与博士生导师

  • 1992年7月本科毕业于湖南农业大学园艺系茶学专业

研究领域:

研究方向为海洋环境与生物海洋学,主要研究内容包括

①海藻与全球变化的关系,主要是研究大型海藻与大气CO2浓度升高、全球变暖和近岸海域富营养化或污染的关系,近岸海域或内陆水体富营养化的生物修复

②大型海藻的光合作用无机碳获得机理与调控、及其在近岸海域生态系统碳素循环中的作用

③应用海藻学,主要是经济海藻的生长发育机理及其调控、海藻栽培生理生态学。研究的核心内容是海藻与全球气候变化的关系、海藻碳代谢机制与调控

科研项目:

主持承担了包括6项国家自然科学基金项目、教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”项目在内的国家和省部级科研项目10余项。另外,作为重要人员,参与国家“863”计划重大项目、国家“973”计划重大项目在内的多个国家和省部级项目的研究。

学术成果:

邹定辉一直探讨海藻栽培生理生态学、碳汇过程及其与气候变化的关系:    

1. 揭示了我国南方海域重要海藻养殖种类光合无机碳获得的机制及其调控,解析近岸海域生态系统大型海藻驱动的蓝碳功能

2. 阐明了汕头南澳岛羊栖菜种群有性繁殖季节模式与繁殖分配    

3. 阐释了气候变化背景下海藻光合功能的响应与适应生理生态学机制。以第一或通讯作者发表国内外核心期刊论文80余篇,其中SCI期刊论文40余篇,参著国内外专著4部。2015年获得国家海洋局海洋科学技术奖二等奖
