Introduction to the speaker:
Chen Dehong, Ph.D., co-founder and President of HELP UNIVERSITY Malaysia, former Chairman of the Department of Applied Economics. The King of Malaysia awarded him the Order of State (P.J.N), Datuk. He is the member of EQSA Australia (Higher Education Quality and Standards Agency) and the National Council for Higher Education of Malaysia, President of the Alumni Association of the Australian National University of Malaysia and Chairman of the Scholarship Committee. He was the winner of the Innovation in Education Award in the World Education Congress (2012). President Chen has contributed to several projects of the Malaysian Government, including the first industrial master plan and other national initiatives, assisted in the establishment of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Composite Index, and was Chairman of the committee from 1991 to 2001. He has also advised many multinational companies on leadership and strategic research. President Chen has a wide influence in Southeast Asia, especially in the Chinese community.
