Theundergraduate program in Finance has been recruiting students since 1994 andhas a complete talent training system including undergraduate, academicmaster's, professional master's, and doctoral degrees in Finance. Finance hasbeen selected as a national first-class undergraduate major program and acharacteristic undergraduate major program in Guangdong Province. It has beenranked 23rd in the 2025 Soft Science China University Major Ranking. There arestrong faculty and strong research atmosphere. There are currently 21 full-timeteachers, including 11 professors and 7 associate professors. More than 90% ofthe teachers have overseas study or work experience, and there is 1 leadingtalent in the Ten Thousand Talents Plan and 1 chief expert in major projects ofthe National Social Science Fund. Collaborate with world-renowned enterprisesto deeply integrate industry and education, establish HSBC Financial TechnologyElite Class and CCB Financial Technology Elite Class, and jointly participatein the training of undergraduate finance students with financial institutionssuch as ICBC, ABC, China Construction Bank, E Fund, GF Securities, GF Futures,etc. Pay attention to internationalization construction and carry out exchangesand cooperation with globally renowned universities such as Oxford University,London School of Economics and Political Science, University of Illinois atUrbana Champaign, etc. In the past three years, the employment quality offinance majors has been high, with a 98% employment (enrollment) rate and adomestic (overseas) further education rate of over 50%.
