Expert delegation from Shanghai Jiaotong University led by Prof. Wu Jingyi, head of teaching department in SJU, made pre-assessment on SEC’s undergraduate teaching on Oct. 16. Ma Ning, deputy director of International Office in SCUT, Zhao Min, secretary of CPC SEC committee, along with associate deans and head of SEC departments were present on the meeting. Jiang Jinbo, associate dean of SEC, introduced SEC and the reform and achievements in undergraduate teaching.
Professor Wu received the introduction patiently. She gave suggestions on SEC’s major setup, quality control on student’s cultivation and student’s innovation and entrepreneurship. She spoke highly of SEC’s efforts and effectiveness on the undergraduate teaching while pointed out problems in the undergraduate teaching.
It is hoped that the undergraduate teaching could be promoted and go through in the final assessment carried out by Ministry of Education next month on the basis of the pre-assessment.(Translated and Edited by HUANG Xiaoting)
