From November 25 to 27, SEC delegation visited Chao Zhou City, which held a close relationship with School of Economics and Commerce in university–industry cooperation, to launched industry development investigation research.
With the aim to explore the social and economic development in Chao Zhou city, SEC delegation chose Chao Zhou Ming Rui Group, Guangdong Culture Great Wall Group, Chao Zhou-Zhong Shan Industry Innovation Center and Intellectual Station as study subjects. Chao Zhou Ming Rui Group was the largest embroidery and wedding gowns production factory globally, owning the biggest wedding gowns design team. Guangdong Culture Great Wall Group was the leading enterprise in the field of ceramics and national key high-tech enterprise, focusing on the innovation integration and marketing operation. In the two groups, SEC delegation learned the profound meaning of industrial upgrading. In order to understand the talents training and service in Chao Zhou, SEC delegation visited Chao Zhou-Zhong Shan Innovation Center and Intellectual Station. The center and station carried out technical consulting, program cooperation, academic communication and technical achievement transformation by conducting commercial model innovation, design innovation, application innovation to promote production quality and enhance industrial upgrading.
The delegation also visited Chao Zhou Han Wen Ancestral Hall to learn the “people and education oriented” spirit and culture established by Han Yu, who was a renowned litterateur, educator and freethinker, and conducted community survey to learn how to integrate cultural resources in primary-level organization.
