On July 21, Dr. DONG Yizhe, from Aberystwyth University, invited as an honorable guest of the 3rd Sub-forum of Overseas Outstanding Talents and Scholars Forum in SEC, gave a lecture on Room 202, south wing of B10 building. Professor WANG Renzeng, executive dean of SEC and professor DENG Kebin, along with dozens of faculty and students in SEC, attended the lecture report.
Professor WANG hosted the lecture. Dr. DONG firstly gave a brief introduction on the general scientific research situation of Aberystwyth University and then gave an academic report entitled on “Does Feedback Trading Drive Returns of Cross-listed Shares?” He dig out the problems existed in the cross-listed stocks and explored the function of cross-listed stock returns. In the Q&A section, attenders proposed questions on the research and Dr. DONG gave positive feedback.
It is learned that SCUT Overseas Outstanding Talents and Scholars Forum was initiated in November of 2015, aiming at inviting outstanding talents to give a lecture focusing on international scientific frontier, enhancing international communication and cooperation and promoting mutual development of both sides.
