In order to promote students’ understanding of exhibition and convention discipline, SEC launched a sharing salon on October 23 at Day Dream Bar in B10 building. Students from grade 2016 majoring in exhibition and convention management attended the salon. Five excellent alumni in this major were invited to be present at the salon and share their experience in study and work. They are now working at respectively Shenzhen Marriot Hotel, China Import and Export Fair, Guangzhou Automobile Group Corp., etc. Dr. WU Zhicai, head of exhibition and convention department, Dr. GAO Kechang and Dr. YU Chuanpeng participated in the salon.
Centering on the university and work life, alumni brought about their vivid stories and shared their experience from different aspects. In the Q&A section, fresh man proposed their puzzles and questions and alumni gave their advice and suggestions patiently. Students and faculty took the sharing salon as the bridge between students in university and alumni, connecting them and locking the love and warmness in SEC.
