From October 8 to 10, the 10th China Tourism Forum, hosting by Hospitality and Tourism Management department, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was launched in Nanjing Institute of Tourism and Hospitality. More than 50 guests from Europe, America, Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong and China Mainland attended the forum.
In the forum, Professor Levent Altinay from Oxford Brooks University, prof. Wolfgang Georg Arlt from Germany Outbound Tourism Research Institute, prof. BAI Xiucheng from University of Nevada Las Vegas, Dr. Nicholas J. Thomas from DePaul University and other academics presented the latest research achievements, and made keynote speeches focusing on the future development of tourism in China.
According to the review of forum paper committee, the paper Measurement Research on Tourists’ Happiness in Religion Pilgrimage Resort Site finished by ZHANG Zhenyun, a postgraduate of Grade 2014 majoring in tourism and hospitality from SEC was awarded the Best Paper Award of the forum.
