From Dec. 17 to 19, 2015 China College Tourism Challenge Cupwas initiated in Guangzhou. SEC students from departments of Tourism and Hospitalitywon championship. Assistant professor LI Muchun, as the supervisor of thechampion team, was awarded Gold Mentor, and MA Haiping, alumnus of SCUT andenterprise tutor of tourism industry, won the honor of Excellent IndustryTutor. Through the competition, students sharpened the understanding of thedevelopment and recent situation of tourism and hospitality industry, andpromoted their professional ability and insight.
It is known that the competition was organized by WorldFederation of Chinese Food and was divided into two section: World YouthCooking Competition and China College Hospitality Challenge Cup.
