Focusing on the “IntegrationDevelopment of Asian Tourism and Food Industry” in the “One Belt, One Road StrategicBackground”, on Dec. 17, 2015 Asian Tourism and Food Summit Forum was launchedin SEC. More than 200 honorable guests and experts from America, Thailand,Australia and Malaysia attended the forum.
ZHANG Zhengang, deputy party secretary of SCUT, XING Ying,executive deputy director of Global Chinese Food Association, and WU Wenxue,deputy chief of National Tourism Administration attended the forum and made speeches.
ZHANG pointed out that tourism and food were important carriers forChinese culture spread, they played significant roles in the communication andcooperation among countries and areas in Asia. He also introduced related disciplinesin SCUT, and achievements that SCUT had got in the regional cooperation oftourism industry and tourism development promotion.
