During the Summer vocation, students in the innovation class of Economics of Grade 2013 and 2014 in School of Economics and Commerce enbraced the precious chance to make an academic exchange in the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, which was SEC's 2015 Econoics Summer School Program.
The program lasted for three weeks. During the program phase, students are divided into three groups to carry out study plans and practice activities. Professor Issac used vivid teaching method, attracting students to take an active part in the study. The program also combines various practice activities: students visited the state Capitol, Abraham Lincoln presidential museum, Lincoln Home, and Lincoln's tomb, and studied the operation mechanism of the federal reserve bank in the St. Louise Federal reserve bank.
The academic program provided anopportunity for students to experience foreign education innovation model, enrich their learning experience of economics, extend their international horizon, and improve their English application ability. (Translated and Edited by HUANG Xiaoting and ZHOU Liyun)
