On April 26, SEC 10th Session of Cultural Festival Closing Ceremony was held in A4-201. Finals of Campus Short Drama Competition was unveiled in the ceremony. The theme of the drama competition was “DRAMATIE YOUR LIFE”, aiming to encourage students to focus more on the poetic instant moments in real life. Eight teams went into the finals through fierce competition in the earlier rounds.
Students showed their drama talents in the stage with huge enthusiasm and excellent performance. The stories in the drama show included The Emperor and The Assassin in ancient China, A Midsummer’s Night Dream by Shakespeare, The Romance of A Busy Broker by O Henry, Alone in the Operating Table and Night Rose, and etc., which were edited by students themselves.
The competition was co-graded by judges and audience. The drama The Emperor and The Assassin was awarded the first prize, the Alone in the Operating Table the second prize and the Night Rose and Alone in the Operating Table the third prize. (Translated and Edited by HUANG Xiaoting)
