The Green Supply Chain Research Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) is an international frontier research management platform affiliated to the School of Business Administration of South China University of Technology. It is an important part of the university that connect domestic and international research teams. The Center has a very professional research team, including three professors, three associate professors, one assistant researcher, and more than 30 doctoral and master students.
The Center considers on environmental issues from all aspects of the supply chain, pays attention to environmental protection, and promotes the coordinated development of the economy and the environment. The research center implements five development concepts of “innovation, coordination, green, openness, sharing”. Based on green manufacturing theory and supply chain management technology, the research center considers the simultaneous development of economic and environmental benefits. During the designing of a green supply chain, it cares about not only various factors, but also the issue of coordinated development of factors.
