School of Business Administration attaches great importance to the building of research innovation team and put into force a number of measures to encourage faculty members to carry out research on cutting-edge topics. In the recent five years, SBA faculty members have produced significant international influence by publishing more than 600 high level academic papers in international top tier journals such as MS, OR, POM, MSOM, JOM, TS, SMJ etc. The capability of SBA to conduct research project especially the national key project is increasing. SBA ranks among those Chinese management schools who had undertaken the most projects with more than 500 research projects conducted, including 12 national key or major program projects among which there are one major program project funded by the National Social Science Foundation, six key program projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one National Social Science Foundation key program project, two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, and two MOE key projects. Average annual research funds are over 20 million RMB yuan. SBA has received 37 ministry or provincial level research awards including 21 excellent research achievement awards of higher education institutes.
