The Venture Capital Research Center, South China University of Technology (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) was jointly initiated on June 28, 2003 by South China University of Technology, Guangzhou Science and Technology Venture Capital Company, Guangzhou Venture Capital Promotion Association and Guangdong Venture Capital Group.
The Center makes full use of the advantages of the university to promote venture capital activities in Guangdong province and South China, and strives to become a frontier researcher and practitioner of innovation in the field of venture capital in South China, as well as the bridge and link between enterprises and society and international venture capitals. All the members of the Center are committed to the research of venture capital with great efforts, and are constantly pursuing and exploring in academic and practical practices. It is expected to strengthen the capability building of the research team, and accelerate the introduction and reference of mature experiences and operational methods from home and abroad, and cultivate professional talents in the field of venture capital.
