 "School's '156+X' Academic Structure Overview"

The school supports the manufacturing transformation of China and the development of the Guangdong—Hong Kong—Macao Greater Bay Area by focusing on interdisciplinary 'robotics+' programs. At the heart of this initiative is 'Industrial Embodied Intelligent Robotics,' supported by the '156+X' interdisciplinary cluster. This framework promotes foundational research in five key technological areas and the development of six types of industrial embodied intelligent robots. These innovations are applied across diverse sectors such as smart manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, forestry, and the low-altitude economy, driving technological advances and real-world implementation. The school aims to establish the Greater Bay Area as a leading hub for talent and innovation in industrial embodied intelligent robotics.
