讲座摘要：
In this presentation, we learn how an incident/accident investigation should be carried out. What investigators should and should not do, what are possible accident investigation techniques. Furthermore, risk treatment, including the principles for inherent safety and the STOP table for add-on safety are discussed. We understand the different possible ways to treat risks and reflect on the possibilities to make choices for safety investment decisions.
主讲人简介：
Genserik Reniers, a Master of Science in chemical engineering, is Full Professor at the Safety and Security Science Group at the Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands, where he teaches courses related to Risk Analysis and Risk Management. He is also a Professor in a part-time capacity at the KU Leuven and at the University of Antwerp, both in Belgium. His main research interests concern the collaboration surrounding safety and security topics and socio-economic optimization within the chemical industry. Amongst many other academic achievements and output, he has published 220+ scientific papers in high-quality academic journals, and has (co-)authored and (co-)edited some 40 books. He serves as an Editor of the Journal of Loss Prevention in the Process Industries and as an Associate Editor of the Journal Safety Science.
