报告概要:

    An introduction of the University of Nottingham and its Faculty of Engineering will be given in the presentation. This is followed by an outline of the challenges and research activities in aeroengine design and manufacturing and a more detailed summary of a few recent research projects including the development of a modelling and optimisation framework for net-shape forging of aeroengine components. The presentation will end by an overview of an on-going EU Marie Curie IRSES (International Research Staff Exchange Scheme) collaborative project with China in developing new materials processing technologies for sustainable future (MatProFuture).

    报告首先将简单介绍诺丁汉大学及该校工学院;然后重点阐述航空发动机设计及制造领域研究现状及所面临的挑战,并详细介绍报告人近期开展的航空发动机零件精锻成形建模及其优化研究方面的工作;此外还将简要介绍与中方合作的欧盟第七研发框架计划(EU FP7)中的玛丽·居里国际研究人员交流项目(Marie Curie IRSES project)—“未来可持续发展的新材料成形技术”进展情况。

主讲人介绍:

    Dr Hengan Ou (欧恒安), PhD CEng MIMechE FHEA

    Dr Hengan Ou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. He had worked as an academic staff at Queen's University Belfast and Chongqing University for 18 years before joining Nottingham in 2008. His main research interests and expertise are in the areas of metal forming process modelling, advanced metal forming and material processing techniques, structural design and optimisation.

    欧恒安,工学博士,英国注册工程师(CEng)、英国机械工程学会会员 (MIMechE)、英国高等教育学会高级会员(FHEA欧恒安博士于2008年开始任职于英国诺丁汉大学,任该校机械、材料及制造工程学院副教授,此前欧博士在贝尔法斯特女王大学及重庆大学从事科研工作达18年。欧博士近年来主要从事金属材料成形建模、先进金属材料成形技术、成形结构设计及优化等领域的研究工作。

    In the past 15 years, he has led a number of EPSRC, EC/FP5/6/7 and industrial sponsored projects in the field of high value manufacturing of aerospace components. As the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator, he has secured and participated in more than £10m research programmes supported by EPSRC and EC/FP6/FP7 in the aerospace related research. He is a keen advocate in research collaboration nationally and internationally. He is currently the Project Coordinator and PI of the EU FP7 Marie Curie IRSES project (MatProFuture) involving 4 EU and 3 Chinese institutions and an EPSRC grant in developing ISF (incremental sheet forming) based techniques and machine systems. He has published more than 110 papers and he is a regular reviewer of more than 25 international journals. He has been an EPSRC Peer College member since 2006. He is an invited reviewer of National Science Award of China and an invited reviewer of NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada) research programme.

    过去15年里,欧恒安博士主持并参与完成了一系列由英国工程与自然科学研究委员会(EPSRC)、欧盟委员会(EC)、欧盟第五//七研发框架计划(FP5/6/7)及企业资助的航空产品零部件精密成形研究领域的科技计划项目,项目总经费达1千万英镑。欧恒安博士还积极致力于国际研合作,目前是EU FP7 Marie Curie IRSES MatProFuture project项目的项目负责人及协调人,该项目主要涉及金属板材渐近成形技术及其装备等方面的研究工作,由4个欧盟研究机构和3所中国科研机构共同承担、由EPSRC赞助的渐进成形及其在生物制造中的应用的研究项目。迄今为止,欧恒安博士在其研究领域发表相关科技论文110余篇,是25家国际期刊的定期审稿人。欧恒安博士于2006年开始成为EPSRC评审成员;此外,欧恒安博士还是“中国国家科学奖(National Science Award of China)”及“加拿大自然科学与工程研究理事会(NSERC)科研项目评审”特邀评审专家。
