A great wife：Hillary Clinton

During my winter holiday I red the book Living history,which was written by Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton.Hillary  was a lawyer,a United States Senator，First Lady of the United States before she became the 67th United States Secretary of State, serving in the administration of President Barack Obama.

I admire Mrs Clinton not only for that she  has received over a dozen awards and honors during her career, from both American and international organizations, for her activities concerning health, women, and children,but also for her love to her husband,Bill Clinton.

In 1998, Mr Clinton was involved in the Lewinsky scandal. The President had had extramarital sexual activities with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Events surrounding the Lewinsky scandal eventually led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton. At that time, Mrs Clinton was a member of the organization that made the impeachment regulation,but she didn’t make her husband fell out of power.Even after  the evidence of President Clinton's encounters with Lewinsky became incontrovertible, Mrs Clinton issued a public statement reaffirming her commitment to their marriage.ave

At first,I sympathize with her as a victim of her husband's insensitive behavior.Later, I begin to admire her catholicity to forgive her hsband.Though some people accused her of cynically staying in a failed marriage as a way of keeping or even fostering her own political influence,I don’t think so .I think it is her love for husband and her family made her forgave her husband. In her 2003 memoir, she attributed her decision to stay married to "a love that has persisted for decades" and add: "No one understands me better and no one can make me laugh the way Bill does. Even after all these years, he is still the most interesting, energizing and fully alive person I have ever met."

 I think Hillary Clinton is a successful politician,a famous public character,and most importantly,a great wife.
