The Review of “Robinson Crusoe”

After reading "Robinson Crusoe" This brilliant novel, I really sank in the charm of this great work and understand the difference between it and other novels of adventures.

Firstly, the author puts himself so perfectly in his hero’s place and the succession of thoughts, feelings and incidents makes the readers feel that they are in the story themselves, experiencing what the hero is experiencing. It is so detailed and vivid that every reader recognizes it is absolutely true to life.

 Secondly, the change of Robinson after he lived on the island alone moves me very much. Before the shipwreck, he was an empire-builder, a colonizer as well as a foreign trader. He kidnaps the blacks, slaves them and even sells them to get sudden huge profit. But after the shipwreck, he changed. He read the Bible, which he never touched before. He believes in God and confesses to God for what he has done to others before the accident and asks for forgiveness. He grows up, not also physically, but also mentally.

       What’s more, with all sorts of difficulties and there is no overwhelming Robinson, it made him stronger. Living on an island alone, he has been trying to find a suitable shelter, run on shore for a whole day, in a rock to find a shelter. Robinson rides down the mountain in a small tent, and as much more, which again on a few stakes to hang a hammock. The next day, he puts all the boxes, as well as wood and wooden raft materials into a circle as a temporary wall for defense. But only after 10 days, there was a sudden landslide. Robinson  not only came to ship out of the loose soil, but also installed the ceiling, with the following columns to avoid the recurrence of landslide disaster. Never give up , Robinson laid the foundation for life. 
    

After reading this book, I am deeply moved. A person caught in an impasse, could such a life full of confidence, the courage to face life, and the creation of life is very valuable. I realize that people, irrespective of when and where, no matter how great the difficulties encountered, the difficulties cannot be intimidated, we should bravely face the difficulties and to overcome difficulties, and always maintain a positive, optimistic attitude of calm, to face and challenges of bad luck. Only in this way can we be an always winner like Robinson.
