Notice on the Extension of Bus Route Pan 72 for Guangzhou International Campus
To All Faculty and Students,
In order to further facilitate travel for faculty, students, and staff at the Guangzhou International Campus, and in response to your feedback as well as field studies, the university has made repeated proposals to the Panyu District Transport Bureau and the Pannan Division of Guangzhou Bus Group Co., Ltd. As a result, effective from September 20, 2025, Bus Route Pan 72 will be extended in one direction with additional stops, providing a connection between the International Campus and Banqiao Metro Station. The details are as follows:
I.Route Adjustment
Effective from September 20, 2025, the downstream direction of Bus Route Pan 72 (from Shiqi Terminal to Guangzhou Agile Beiyuan Bus Terminal) will add the following 10 stops:
Banqiao Metro Station (Exit A), Shitoucun (Eastbound), Yongda Community (Eastbound), South China University of Technology Guangzhou International Campus North Gate②, Nanda Avenue/Shixin Road Intersection (Eastbound), Nanda Avenue/Zengbian Village (Eastbound), Nanda Avenue/Zengbian Village (Westbound), Nanda Avenue/Shixin Road Intersection (Westbound), Yongda Community (Westbound), Shitoucun (Westbound).
II.Travel Guidance
The downstream direction of Bus Route Pan 72 sequentially connects Exit A of Banqiao Metro Station, the International Campus, and Exit D of Banqiao Metro Station. This route can be taken whether traveling from Exit A of Banqiao Metro Station to the International Campus or from the International Campus to Exit D of Banqiao Metro Station.
Faculty, students, and staff can board the bus at the nearest stop based on their location.
III.Reminders
Before traveling, faculty, students, and staff are advised to check the real-time vehicle location via the GZTA·Xingxuntong WeChat Mini Program or App to better plan the trips and minimize unnecessary waiting time.
