Tao Shaojing is introducing the construction of GZIC
Tao Shaojing introduced the Guangzhou International Campus with respect to the campus construction, the planning layout, the school-running concept and the management system, and expressed her sincere gratitude to Liu Baoli for his long-term concern and support for SCUT. She hoped that Liu Baoli can continuously raise valuable suggestions on the construction of GZIC.
Liu Baoli highly appreciated the construction achievements of GZIC, and claimed that GZIC is the best university campus in China that he has even seen. He observed that the Guangzhou International Campus is a modern campus with a combination of Chinese and Western features, and its operation and management makes full use of big data, artificial intelligence and other scientific and technological means, which fully demonstrated the University’s advantages in engineering research. The school-running concept of “Internationalization with Local Orientation” is an intuitive manifestation of the thorough implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s initiation of “Taking Root in China to Run a University”. He wished that GZIC develops better and better in the future.
Liu Baoli and Yu Shucheng also visited the Data Center, the Teacher and Student Service Center, the smart classrooms, and the Junde College of GZIC.
