Xinglong xiao has more than 45 refereed journal articles, one book, 18 patents and 3 formulated trade standards. He is an active researcher in the area of foodborne bacterial pathogens and works closely with the food industry on issues related to the microbiological safety of food.
Research Interests:
The study of microbial pathogenicity, the development of methods for pathogen detection, and the identification of means to control or eliminate pathogens in food.
