Molecular biology of cyanobacteria, cell-based high throughput screening, diet and cancer, functional foods and chronic disease risks, anticancer and antiviral compounds in natural products and herbal remedies.

1. Investigation of antitumor and hypolipidemic effect of vegetable extract;
2. Functional characterization of metalloprotease S2P homologs in Arabidopsis and cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC6803;
3. Development of cell lines for high-throughput screening.
