On the morning of November 8, Vice President Zhu Min visited the School of Biology and Biological Engineering, with our university laboratory and equipment management office and the university city campus management committee.

Dean Lin Zhanglin reported on the work of the school in the system construction, discipline construction and introduction of talents, student training and other three aspects of work ideas and progress. He said that in the next 5 to 10 years, we will make achievements in three aspects: ESI rankings, science and technology entrepreneurship and bioengineering new level disciplines application. Dean Lin Zhanglin also specially reported the approval of the Ministry of Education, “Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation in Synthetic Biology and Pharmaceutical Preparation” .

Secretary Wu Chunnian reported on the progress made by the party committee recently. He said that the college party committee will actively create a united and progressive atmosphere and escort the development of the college.

Vice President Zhu Min highly affirmed the working thought of the new leadership and the achievements and progress made by the college in the aspects of system, discipline and talent. He demanded that the college insist on setting a high-level goal, sticking to the cultivation of qualified personnel, upholding system construction, further strengthening the construction of teachers and platforms, and promoting the development of the college to a higher level.
