The opening ceremony for 2017 freshmen of School of biology and Biological engineering was held in A4-104 on September 11, 2017. Distinguished guests of the ceremony included dean Lin Zhanglin, deputy secretary Wu Chunnian, honorary dean Wang Xiaoning, all faculty and freshmen of the School of Biology and Biological Engineering.

Lin Zhanglin and Wu Chunnian addressed a keynote speech on the ceremony, encouraging students to establish themselves in university with an eye toward the world.

Distinguished alumni Yuan Yuyu, overseas high-level talent of Guangdong Province, vice secretary of the Communist Youth League of Guangdong, and Chairman of Guangzhou Medprin Regenerative Medical Technologies Co Ltd, gave a vivid introduction of the influence and history of 3D printing technology to students, believing that life science is booming. And he hoped that all the students can seize the study opportunity.
