Nov. 11th -13th ,2015, invited by Prof. Wen Tan, Dean of School of Bioscience and Bioengineering, Director of Innovative Drugs & Medicine Pre-incubator Research Center, Prof. Charbel Massaad and Prof. Frédéric Charbonnier visited our school and gave several lectures to students in our school.
Prof. Charbel Massaad is the dean of the Faculty of Basic and Biomedical Sciences of the University Paris Descartes, and Prof. Frédéric Charbonnier is the director of CICB-Paris. Their visiting were supported by fund of “Overseas academic master” in SCUT.
The two professors introduced the important theories, experimental technology and major diseases and relevant pathological and pharmacological research status in the field of molecules and behavioral neuroscience. On this topic, they have a seminar with faculties in Innovative Drugs & Medicine Pre-incubator Research Center. Prof. Wen Tan, Assoc. Prof. Ya Jin and PhD candidates Ms Junxiao Li and Mr. Hui Hu gave presentations in the seminar.
University of Descartes is a famous university all around the world, especially its research in biomedical. Nearly 40 teachers and students in SCUT attend the seminar and speak highly to the research and lectures of two professors.
Currently, two universities are discussing about the collaboration in scientific research and student exchange.
