Dr. Chyau Liang, 29th June, invited by Prof. Wen Tan in Innovative Drugs & Medicine Pre-incubator Research Center, gave a interesting lecture to the students in School of Bioscience and Bioengineering. The lecture themed on Biopharma Patent Prosecution in the U.S., introducing patent application. Dr. Liang warmly answered the students’ question and discussed something related with patent application with students.
Dr. Liang has many years of experience in patent prosecution and litigation in the fields of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. His experience also includes mechanical and oilfield technologies. Dr. Liang was formerly a professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He has over a decade of experience in biomedical research, as well as teachings to the medical and graduate students.
Dr. Liang’s wonderful speech ,profound knowledge and experience help students’ a lot in the specialized patent application.
