time: 2015-04-21

Professor Li Pan is a member of Microbiology Scientific Research Team in School  of Bioscience and Bioengineering, SCUT. He, as the corresponding author, and Dr. Chao Wang, as the first author published a research paper in high-level journal Nucleic Acids Research named Survey of Protein-DNA Interactions in Aspergillus oryzae on a Genomic Scale, demonstrating the regulating mechanism of transcription factors in filamentous fungi and its protein-protein interaction effects.

Nucleic Acids Research is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Oxford University Press. It covers research on nucleic acids, such as DNA and RNA, and related work. Some of its content is available under an open access license. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal's 2014 impact factor is 9.112, which is a high-level journal in scientific field.

The publication of this research paper contributes a lot to the development of the microbiology field in our school and really makes sense to solve the key scientific problem in the regulation of Aspergillus oryzae gene expression.
