On the afternoon of March 9, a delegation led by Chairwoman WANG Yingjun and vice-president QIU Xueqing visited Shenzhen Huada Genomics Institute (SHGI) and had a discussion with WANG Jian, dean of SHGI, on the training mold of Innovation Class and cooperation in other fields. The delegation also extended their regards to the students in Genome Sciences Innovation Class.
WANG Jian extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He hoped that both sides would strengthen the cooperation, especially in terms of talent training. Apart from the training of Innovation Class, he also suggested strengthening the communication and cooperation of middle-aged and young teachers between SCUT and SHGI.
WANG Yingjun said that Innovation School is a pilot project for SCUT reformation of innovative education, and that SCUT will offer adequate resource in teaching force, practice ground and students for the cooperation.
