On Nov. 27th to 29th, an inspection and acceptance group of 11 experts organized by the Guangdong university Project 211 coordination group, from domestic Project 985 universities came to SCUT to inspect the leading academic disciplines construction projects of SCUT, Guangdong Project 211, Phase III.

On the morning of Nov. 28th, the inspection and acceptance report meeting was held in Building 22, Wushan Campus, SCUT. After listening to the report, the inspection group went to the laboratories of relevant departments to inspect the construction of each project and afterwards conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions with academic leaders, youth backbone teachers and the people in charge of these projects.

On the morning of Nov. 29th, the experts reached an agreement on the inspection after full discussion. They fully affirmed the remarkable results of SCUT on discipline construction, high-level teacher introduction and education, innovative personnel training, scientific and technological innovation, and social services, international exchanges and cooperation etc, and all agreed that the construction projects passed the inspection and the results were accepted.
