On November 9, SCUT witnessed its first homecoming day for alumni, reuniting 50 alumni from 2 classes together with their families. School Presidents TAN Wen and LIU Yingsi, attended the activities on that day.

All the alumni, old or young, showed great enthusiasm for the homecoming. Some of them visited the university history museums to see the achievement of SCUT, others communicated with teachers and students of their school. Some alumni graduating in early years took pictures in academic costumes, others walked around the campus to feel the changes of the school.

 

On that day, special services on enrolment counseling are also provided. Some senior teachers presented their works of calligraphy to the alumni. The students gave performances and held special events for celebration, attracting the attention of alumni. Welomo, a campus photo company owned by alumni, also provided SCUT with 3 machines printing photos for alumni for free. Thousands of alumni and students participated in this activities.
