Dean Tan wen extended a warm welcome to the expert from afar on behalf of the School of Bioscience & Biotechnology,and made a brief introduction to the development history, market and other issues of the winein China, and the relationship between wine andbiological  medicines.

         In the speech, Mr. José Felix Alvarez， with nearly 30 years experience in wine making and appreciation，introduced the process of the wine production to the teachers and students,and outlooked the prospect of the development of wine in China. Meanwhile, the Ying Dragon Emperor Sent Wine Incorporated Company of Shenzhen, the exclusive sales agent of Fernandez Piérola winery in China, offered a variety of wines to the participants for free tasting. The company's senior bartender together with Mr. Jose Félix Alvarez described the knowledge of tasting and the way of drinking habits of the wine in details. The atmosphere of the meeting place was relaxed and very enthusiactic. The teachers and the students had said  they were benefit a lot from the meeting. 

         After the meeting, Dean Tan Wen and Mr. Jose Felix Alvarez discussed the further cooperation in the future.
