Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation (111 Center) for Novel Biomedical Materials and Tissue Restoration, approved by State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and Ministry of Education in 2013, is the first Center of its kind approved in the field of biomedical materials. By introducing renowned foreign universities, scholars, academicians and their teams, the Center is at an advanced level internationally in hard tissue repair biomedical materials and medical devices, bioinformatics genomics and pathogenesis of major diseases, nano-biomedicine and so on.
