Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation (111 Center) for Organic Optoelectronic Functional Materials and Devices, upgraded from Overseas Expertise Introduction Center for Discipline Innovation (111 Center) for Polymer Plastic Photoelectric Materials, got support for Center 2.0 Program in 2018. The current person in charge is Professor Yuguang Ma, Director of National Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices.
With the guiding principles of “Developing discipline frontiers for the need of our country with basic research as foundation”, foreign high-level intellectuals have been introduced to the Center. Cooperation and international research teams have been made with domestic academic key members for building international leading discipline, making the Center productive in the output of original innovative results of photoelectric materials key technology.
Supported by National Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices, the Center, under the principle of putting equal emphasis on both fundamental research and applying research, focuses on the researches on molecular design of new organic/polymer optoelectronic materials, design, fabrication and interface micro-control of organic/polymer optoelectronic devices, and low-cost large-area organic/polymer display and energy conversion device preparation and system integration for the development of both discipline and industry, aiming at international frontiers.
