The laboratory focus on the fundamental researches of energy materials and nano-materials, including hydrogen storage materials, Lithium ion battery materials, porous shape memory alloys, hard metals, bearing alloys, mechanical alloys, etc. There are over 20 faculties and over 60 postgraduates in our lab, including 13 professors, 5 associate professors, 1 senior engineer, and 3 lecturers. The lab possesses a batch of advanced material fabrication and analysis instruments, like HRTEM, SEM, XRD, DSC, PCT and etc.
In recent five years, we had received more than 20 granting projects from national and local government, such as the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program), the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) , the Innovative Research Groups and Key project of the National Natural Science Foundation, The Ministry of Education Innovation Team Project, the funding is more than 10 millions RMB. At same time, there are more than 200 papers published in the international journal, and more 30 granted Chinese patents.
